Ingredients

  1. dried chickpeas - 200g (soaked overnight)
  2. psyllium husk shells - 70g
  3. water - 2dl
  4. apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  5. extra virgin olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  6. salt - 1 teaspoon
  7. baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  8. turmeric - 1 teaspoon
  9. dried dill - 1 teaspoon
  10. feta cheese - 150g (crumbled)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chickpeas: Soak dried chickpeas in water overnight.
  2. Blend Chickpeas: Blend soaked chickpeas with water, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil until smooth.
  3. Mix Dough: Add salt, baking soda, turmeric, dried dill, and psyllium husk shells to the chickpea mixture and knead for 10 minutes by hand or 5 minutes in a mixer.
  4. Add Feta: Fold crumbled feta into the dough.
  5. Form Balls: Form the dough into twelve even balls.
  6. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) with fan for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
