Ingredients

  1. blended Scotch whisky - 1 oz (30 ml)
  2. Benedictine liqueur - 0.5 oz (15 ml) (herbal honeyed spice)
  3. lemon juice - 0.5 oz (15 ml)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz blended Scotch whisky, 0.5 oz Benedictine liqueur, and 0.5 oz lemon juice.
  2. Shake: Add plenty of ice to the shaker. Give it a hearty shake until well chilled.
  3. Strain and Serve: Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass. The original recipe suggests using a very small glass, but you can double the recipe for a standard volume cocktail if preferred.
