Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Cut half a chicken breast into cubes, half an onion into cubes and wedges, a garlic clove into wedges, and tomatoes into small cubes.
  2. Fry Spices: In a pot, heat a little vegetable oil and add two bay leaves, a broken cinnamon stick, a few cloves, and a lime. Fry for a minute until the spices release their aroma.
  3. Cook Chicken: Add the chicken cubes to the pot and cook until they change color.
  4. Add Vegetables and Spices: Add the onion and garlic to the chicken. Once the onions have wilted, add kabsa spices, tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, and a little ghee. Stir well.
  5. Simmer: Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and let the ingredients combine until the tomatoes release their sauce.
