Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Heat the stove to a medium heat. Add a splash of extra virgin olive oil to the pan.
  2. Cook Mushrooms: Before the oil gets hot, add a splash of water. Add the mushrooms and season with pepper. Cook until tender.
  3. Blend Mushrooms: Blend some of the cooked mushrooms with a bit of olive oil and milk to create a creamy mixture.
  4. Combine and Cook: Add the mushroom blend back to the pan with more milk or water for creaminess. Add cooked pasta and pasta water as needed to achieve a creamy consistency.
  5. Finish with Cheese: Add pecorino cheese and mix until creamy and well combined.
