Ingredients

  1. soft cream - 100 grams (cold, for cream layer)
  2. cream cheese - 50 grams (soft, for cream layer)
  3. fine sugar - 1 tablespoon (for cream layer)
  4. vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon (for cream layer)
  5. espresso or strong coffee - 100 ml (cold, for soaking fekkas)
  6. fekkas biscuits - watch the video to see (small pieces, for layering)
  7. unsweetened cocoa powder - watch the video to see (for dusting on top)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream: In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, cold soft cream, fine sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk with an electric mixer until the mixture becomes thick, creamy, and fluffy enough to stick to the top.
  2. Soak the fekkas: Pour the cold espresso or strong coffee into a bowl. Dip the fekkas pieces briefly into the coffee to moisten them slightly.
  3. Layer the dessert: In a small square mold (approximately 12 cm), arrange a single layer of the coffee-soaked fekkas. Pour about one tablespoon of coffee over this layer.
  4. Add cream and repeat: Spread a layer of the prepared cream over the fekkas. Repeat the process by adding another layer of coffee-soaked fekkas and then cream on top.
  5. Chill and serve: Wipe the edges of the mold clean so the glass is visible. Refrigerate the dessert for 1 to 2 hours. Just before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder. Enjoy!
