Ingredients

  1. cherry tomatoes - 4 cups (sliced into quarters)
  2. fresh basil leaves - 18 leaves
  3. garlic - 1 head (whole head, use as preferred)
  4. hot chili flakes - 1 tablespoon
  5. soy sauce or tamari - to taste
  6. olive oil - 1/2 cup
  7. parmesan cheese - 1 and 1/2 cups (your favorite)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the cherry tomatoes into quarters. Stack the basil leaves, roll them up, and break by hand to preserve flavor.
  2. Cook the Tomatoes: Cook down the tomatoes for 10 minutes, then transfer back to a bowl.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the basil, garlic, hot chili flakes, soy sauce or tamari, and olive oil to the bowl with the tomatoes.
  4. Cook Pasta: Cook and drain your pasta as per package instructions.
  5. Mix Pasta and Tomato Mixture: Place the tomato mixture into a pot and heat up for about 5 minutes. Then add the cooked pasta.
  6. Add Cheese: Add 1 and 1/2 cups of your favorite parmesan cheese. Mix well to avoid lumps.
