  4. Chinese celery - watch the video to see (fresh)
  5. tomatoes - 2 (fresh, chopped)
  6. fish sauce - 1 tsp (for seasoning)
  7. stock powder - 1 tsp (for seasoning)
  8. salt - 1/2 tsp (for seasoning)
  9. pepper - 1/2 tsp (for seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fish: Rinse the spotted rabbitfish thoroughly with salted water to clean.
  2. Prepare vegetables: Chop the green onion stems, green chilli, Chinese celery, and tomatoes.
  3. Cook the soup: In a pot, add the rinsed fish, chopped vegetables, fish sauce, stock powder, salt, and pepper. Add water to cover and bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer: Reduce heat and simmer until the fish is cooked through and flavors meld, approximately 20-30 minutes.
  5. Serve: Serve hot as a light and flavorful soup.
