Instructions

  1. Prepare the fish: Wash the sweet potato fish, drain it, and marinate it with turmeric, galangal, lemongrass, chili, minced onion, garlic, a little fish sauce, and pepper. Mix well and let it soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sweet potatoes: Peel and wash the Huong cac ca sweet potatoes, then cut them into long slices.
  3. Cook the sweet potatoes: Heat oil in a pan, add the sweet potatoes, and fry them briefly. Then pour in enough broth and boil again for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Add the fish: After the sweet potatoes are soft, add the marinated fish and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Final seasoning: Taste the soup with a little fish sauce and seasoning powder, then scoop it into a bowl.
