  4. peanut oil - 3 tablespoons (for sautéing)
  5. water - 80 g (for cooking)
  6. Sichuan pepper - 2 teaspoons (for marinade)

  8. garlic - 1 clove (sliced)
  9. potato starch - 1 tablespoon (to tenderize and create creaminess)
  10. soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (for marinade)
  11. rice wine - 1 tablespoon (for marinade)
  12. hoisin sauce - 1 tablespoon (for marinade)
  13. water - 100 g (added to marinade)
  14. salt - pinch (to taste)
  15. sesame seeds - to taste (for garnish)
  16. black sesame seeds - to taste (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Marinade: Slice garlic and cut fresh ginger into small pieces. In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger, Sichuan pepper, soy sauce, rice wine, hoisin sauce, potato starch, water, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  2. Marinate Beef: Cut beef tenderloin into strips. Add the beef strips into the marinade, mix thoroughly to coat, then refrigerate and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare Vegetables: Slice the white onion and green bell pepper into strips.
  4. Cook: Heat peanut oil in a wok or large pan. Add sliced onion and sauté until fragrant. Add green bell pepper and cook briefly. Add marinated beef strips along with some water (about 80 g). Cook for a few minutes until beef is tender and cooked through.
  5. Finish and Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds and black sesame seeds on top for garnish. Serve hot.
