Instructions

  1. Prepare the base: Heat oil in a pan and sauté cinnamon, cardamom, black cumin, and curry leaves to extract their aromatics.
  2. Cook onions: Add finely chopped onions to the pan and let them brown slightly.
  3. Add spices and paste: Stir in turmeric and a generous amount of ginger-garlic paste. After cooking for a while, add the poppy seed and coconut paste and mix well.
  4. Cook the chicken: Add chicken pieces and beaten yogurt, cooking until the chicken is slightly soft and cooked in its own juices.
