Ingredients

  5. salt - to taste

  8. ghee - 1 tablespoon (optional, for flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Lentils: Wash lentils and boil with a little salt until cooked but still firm.
  2. Fry Onions: Fry onions in vegetable oil until crispy. Set aside some for garnish.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a pot, mix the cooked lentils, rice, and fried onions. Add water if necessary and bring to a boil.
