Ingredients

  1. chicken skin - 300 grams (use a large amount, about 300 grams)

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Cut the chicken skin into smaller pieces if desired, to help them crisp up more.
  2. Microwave: Place the chicken skin in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 10 minutes.
  3. Check and Continue Microwaving: Check the amount of fat rendered. If more fat can be rendered, continue microwaving for an additional 2-3 minutes at 50% power.
  4. Strain: Once a significant amount of fat has rendered and the chicken skin is fully rendered, strain the fat to separate it from the skin.
  5. Optional Crisping: Optionally, continue microwaving the skin until it becomes crispy chips.
