  1. boiled eggs - 2 (2 boiled eggs)
  2. garlic cloves - 3 (3 cloves)
  3. oil - 1 tbsp (1 tablespoon for frying garlic)
  4. soy sauce - 1 tbsp (1 tablespoon)
  5. white sesame seeds - 30 g (30 grams, roasted)
  6. granulated sugar - 2.5 tbsp (2 ½ tablespoons)
  7. salt - 0.5 tsp (½ teaspoon)
  8. MSG - 0.5 tsp (½ teaspoon)
  9. dashi powder or chicken bouillon powder - 0.5 tsp (½ teaspoon)
  10. water - 4 tbsp (4 tablespoons)
  11. lime juice - 1-2 tbsp (1-2 tablespoons)
  12. sesame oil - 1 tbsp (1 tablespoon)

Instructions

  1. Roast sesame seeds: Roast the sesame seeds over low heat until golden brown and fragrant, then set aside.
  2. Fry garlic: Slice 2 cloves of garlic and fry them in a little oil until golden brown.
  3. Blend main ingredients: In a blender, combine boiled eggs, fried garlic, 1 clove of raw garlic, roasted sesame seeds, salt, MSG, sugar, dashi powder, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, and water. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add remaining sesame seeds: Add the remaining roasted sesame seeds and blend briefly to keep some sesame grain texture.
  5. Serve or store: The roasted sesame sauce is ready to use. It can be stored thick in the refrigerator for up to 70 days or frozen in portions for longer storage.
