Instructions

  1. Prepare potatoes: Slice Yukon Gold potatoes into large chunks.
  2. Parboil potatoes: Drop potatoes into salted boiling water and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until just barely cooked through.
  3. Drain and steam: Drain potatoes in a strainer and let them steam for 5 minutes.
  4. Roughen potato edges: Shake the potatoes in the strainer to rough up the edges, creating a textured surface.
