Instructions

  1. Prepare ice cream base: Place 200 g of chocolate-flavored ice cream in a bowl and let it soften. Break it up with a fork until fluffy.
  2. Mix ingredients: Add 2 medium eggs, 10 g all-purpose flour, 20 g icing sugar, 10 g cocoa powder, and optional vanilla extract to the softened ice cream. Mix thoroughly until combined.
  3. Prepare molds: Butter three ovenproof ramekins or muffin tins and dust with cocoa powder.
  4. Fill molds: Divide the mixture evenly among the three prepared molds, filling almost to the top but leaving room for rising.
  5. Bake: Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan mode). Bake the moelleux for approximately 13 to 15 minutes until a crust forms on top but the inside remains moist.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven and serve warm with extra chocolate ice cream, hazelnut crumble, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
