Not everyone has a pizza oven or pizza peel at home, and if this sounds like you, then this pan pizza recipe might be the perfect fit. It's all about creating a Neapolitan-style pizza, without any special equipment. All you need is a pan and a little passion! This method might surprise you with the result still that beautiful puffed crust, chewy base, and oozing mozzarella that make every bite taste like you're in Napoli. At the same time, preheat your electric oven on broiler mode so it’s hot and ready. 2) Place your dough ball on a workbench dusted with semolina flour. Press down gently in the center and work your way outward. Turn the dough and repeat, pressing from the center outward again to form a round shape. 3) Transfer the dough to the preheated pan and stretch the edges slightly to fit the pan. Once bubbles begin to form, add a portion of tomato sauce on top, gently spreading it over the base, leaving room around the edge for the crust. 4) Add the rest of your toppings—mozzarella, basil leaves, choose your favorites. Check the bottom of the dough for leopard spots and once they appear finish the pizza in the pre heated electric oven. 5) Place the frying pan on the top shelf of the oven and cook for 120 to 130 seconds, until the cheese is melted and the top is lightly charred. HOW TO SERVE: Pour some extra virgin olive oil on top, add a few fresh basil leaves for the final touch, then slice it up while it’s hot.
