A Plate of Bacon (literally) Pork belly is good for a lot of things, and turns out being a plate for pancakes is one of them. To make this at home, slice the pork belly into thin strips (or just use bacon) and wrap them around in a tight circle. You may have to use several strips to make the circle big enough, then use a rack on top to hold it in shape while it smokes. Once rendered, I added an orange glaze. The palm trees are bursting with syrup this time of year, but just use maple in case you don’t have access!
