  8. Panko bread crumbs - 2 cups
  9. butter - 1/2 stick (melted)
  10. Parmesan cheese - 2 oz (grated)
  11. white cheddar cheese - 2 oz (grated)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cheese and Bacon: Grate 10 oz of old cheddar cheese and prepare thick cut bacon as desired.
  2. Cook Macaroni: Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  3. Make Sauce: Supplement the sauce with fresh garlic, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce.
  4. Add Cheese and Jalapenos: Let the mixture cool slightly, then add another 6 oz of grated cheese and some pickled jalapenos. Fold together to distribute the unmelted cheese evenly.
  5. Prepare Breadcrumb Topping: Mix together two cups of Panko bread crumbs with about a half stick of melted butter and about 2 oz each of grated Parmesan, cheddar, and white cheddar cheese.
