Ingredients

  1. tahini - 250 g (250 g)
  2. vermicelli - 120 g (120 g)
  3. water - 2 l (2 l)
  4. vegetable cube - 1 (1 cube)
  5. lemon zest - 1.5 lemons (from 1.5 lemons)
  6. lemon juice - 3 lemons (from 3 lemons)
  7. salt - watch the video to see (to taste)
  8. bukovo - watch the video to see (optional, for serving)
  9. freshly ground pepper - watch the video to see (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the broth: In a pot of boiling water, add the vegetable cube and salt.
  2. Cook the vermicelli: Add the vermicelli to the broth and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Mix tahini and lemon: In a bowl, add the zest and juice from the lemons, and the tahini. Mix with a hand whisk.
  4. Combine tahini mixture with broth: Add a ladle of the boiling water to the tahini mixture and mix well to dissolve the tahini. Repeat for another two to three ladles.
  5. Finalize the soup: Transfer the tahini mixture to the pot, mix, and boil for 1 to 2 more minutes.
  6. Serve: Put the soup in a deep plate and serve with bukovo and freshly ground pepper.
