- brown sugar - 1 cup (packed)
- salt - 1 pinch (to taste, or use salted butter)
- matzah - 4 sheets (broken into pieces)
- dark chocolate chips - 1 cup (for melting)
- flaky sea salt - to taste (for finishing)
Instructions
- Prepare the Toffee: In a saucepan, cook down the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until it forms a toffee.
- Add Salt: Add a hefty pinch of salt to the toffee mixture.
- Pour Over Matzah: Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the broken matzah pieces.
- Bake: Bake in the oven until set.
