Ingredients

  1. margarine - 120 grams (room temperature)
  2. unsalted butter - 80 grams (room temperature)
  3. icing sugar - 150 grams
  4. egg yolk - 2
  5. vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
  6. salt - 3/4 teaspoon
  7. cake flour - 260 grams (low protein)
  8. cornstarch - 80 grams
  9. creamer or milk powder - 30 grams
  10. chocolate flavoring - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. choco chips - to taste (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a bowl, add unsalted butter, margarine, and icing sugar. Mix briefly.
  2. Add Egg Yolks and Dry Ingredients: Add yolks, salt, and vanilla extract while stirring. Then, sift in flour, cornstarch, and creamer. Mix well with a spatula.
  3. Divide and Flavor Dough: Divide the dough into two. Add chocolate flavoring to one of them and mix well.
  4. Shape and Top Cookies: Pipe both the white and chocolate dough on a pan lined with baking paper. Add choco chips.
  5. Bake: Bake at 130°C for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Serve: Kue Semprit is ready to serve.
