Instructions

  1. Prepare Kofta Mixture: Mix half a kilo of minced meat with grated onion, a little parsley, spices (as per video), one tablespoon of baking powder, and two cloves of garlic. Mix well until the mixture becomes waxy.
  2. Chill Kofta Mixture: Place the kofta mixture in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  3. Shape and Oil Kofta: Remove the mixture from the refrigerator, shape into balls, brush each with a spoonful of olive oil.
  4. Bake Kofta: Place the kofta balls in the oven using a tray or pan (such as the Tefal Ingenio set). Remove the handle and cover, bake until kofta takes on a waxy texture and a nice color.
  5. Brown Potatoes: Brown potatoes separately in a pan and set aside.
  6. Prepare Tahini Yogurt Sauce: Mix one cup of tahini with a carton of yogurt, two tablespoons of vinegar, juice of two lemons, four cloves of garlic, a little parsley, and water until reaching a creamy consistency.
  7. Assemble Dish: Place baked kofta on top of browned potatoes, drizzle with tahini yogurt sauce.
  8. Final Garnish: Cook a little tomato, parsley, and almonds in olive oil and butter until lightly colored (not browned). Use this as a garnish on the dish.
  9. Serve: Serve the kofta hot with the tahini sauce and garnishes.
