Instructions
Marinate the Chicken: Cut the chicken into thin slices. Marinate with oyster sauce, cornstarch, chicken brewing powder, and water. Mix until there's no liquid left.
Coat with Oil: Add vegetable oil to the bowl and mix until the chicken pieces are evenly coated.
Cook the Chicken: Once your pot of congee base is ready, set the stove to high heat and slowly add the chicken. Stir around for about a minute, similar to the cooking technique used in hot pot.
