Prepare Rice Mixture: In a bowl, mix 1 tsp crushed ginger & garlic, 1 tbsp mint, 1 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 tbsp chopped green chillies, whole garam masala, 4 cups mixed salt water, and 2 cups of rice. Pour this mixture into a rice cooker.
Prepare Yogurt Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup curd, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp + 1 tsp biryani masala, and 2 tbsp butter. Mix well and set aside.
Prepare Fried Chicken: In a bowl, add 500 grams of chicken, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, a pinch of garam masala, chopped curry leaves, 1 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp corn flour, 1 tsp all purpose flour, and a little oil. Mix well and fry the chicken pieces in hot oil.
Assemble Biryani: Pour 1 tsp of saffron color over the rice in the cooker. Add the fried chicken pieces and fried onions on top of the rice.
Cook and Serve: Let the rice cooker do its magic until the biryani is cooked. Once done, let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
