Sourdough Starter Timelapse - Super Active Sourdough filmed over 6 Hours.

This sourdough starter timelapse shows my starter after feeding for around 6 hours. It is super active and bubbly. I like to place a rubber band to see whether my sourdough is active enough. I fed the sourdough 80 grams old sourdough, 80 grams freshly milled rye flour and another 80 grams of water. Timelapse is recorded over 6 hours. Your sourdough is ready to be used if your sourdough starter manages to double in size after 6-8 hours. If it takes longer, feed your starter again until it reaches the same level of activity. The temperature at the place where I recorded the video was around 20°C or 68°F.
