SEMIYA BISI BELE BATH INGREDIENTS: Red chillies - 5 nos Coriander seeds - 2 tsp Cinnamon - 2 tsp Cloves - 2 tsp Cardamom - 2 nos. Chana dal - 1 cup Coconut (grated) - 5 tsp Ghee - 3 tsp Vermicelli - 250gms Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Hing - ½ tsp Shallots - 100gms Curry leaves - 1 spring Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp Pumpkin (chopped) - 1 cup Brinjal - 3 nos. Carrots - 1 cup Green beans - 1 cup Turmeric powder - ½ tsp Tamarind juice - 1 cup Water - As required Salt - As per taste Boondi - 2 tsp DIRECTIONS: Heat a pan, add red chillies, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, chana dal, urad dal, and grated coconut dry roast all of it. Transfer into a plate. Later, Grind into a coarse powder. In the same pan add ghee, vermicelli roast it nicely Heat ghee in another pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, shallots, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, pumpkin, brinjal and saute it till it turns transparent. Heat ghee in a pan,add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, shallots, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, pumpkin, brinjal, carrots, green beans, turmeric powder and saute it. Then add tamarind juice, water, salt & close the lid cook it for 5 minutes. Afterwards add tomatoes, boiled toor dal, coriander leaves cook it by using a lid. . Then, add grounded masala powder, roasted vermicelli mix it well cook it again for 2-3 minutes. Then switch off the flame. Now ready to serve the Semiya Bisi Bele Bath by topping up with some masala powder, some boondi.
