Potong tipis cumi kemudian pindahkan ke dalam mangkuk 2. Marinasi dengan bawang putih parut, jahe parut, perasan jeruk nipis, garam, kaldu jamur, merica, baking powder dan telur, aduk rata. Diamkan minimal 15 menit atau hingga 1 jam 3. Tambahkan tepung tapioka dan tepung terigu, aduk rata 4. Balurkan ke dalam tepung tapioka, aduk rata. Diamkan 3 menit kemudian saring 5. Panaskan minyak, goreng cumi di api besar hingga kecokelatan, tiriskan 6. Cincang bawang putih, potong kotak bawang bombai, cabai rawit merah dan daun bawang 7. Panaskan margarin dan sedikit minyak kemudian tumis bawang putih, bawang bombai dan cabai rawit merah, tumis hingga wangi 8. Masukkan saus tomat, saus sambal, saus tiram, kecap ikan dan gula pasir, tumis sesaat di api kecil kemudian masukkan cumi yang sudah digoreng, aduk rata 9. Masukkan daun bawang, aduk rata 10.
