Oats mixed Vegetable and moong dal khichdi is a delicious Indian recipe for breakfast and healthy dish. INGREDIENTS: Butter(cubes) 2 nos Cumin seeds ½ tsp Curry leaves 1 spring Ginger(finely chopped) ½ tsp Green chillies(chopped) ½ tsp Carrots(chopped) ½ cup French beans(chopped) ¼ cup Onions(chopped) ¼ cup Split green gram or Moong dal(soaked) ½ cup Water as required Salt To taste Pepper ½ tsp Oats 1 cup METHOD: 1. Heat a pan, add butter, cumin seeds and saute it. 2. Add curry leaves, once they splutter add ginger, green chillies and saute it. 3. Add carrots, french beans, onions and saute it, later add split green gram along with water, salt. 4. Place the lid and cook it for few mins. 5. Crush the pepper with pestle and add to above pan, cook again with lid on. 6. Once the dal and vegetable are cooked, add oats and mix nicely, later switch off flame. 7. Now the oats vegetable khichdi is ready to serve with cucumber raitha or any pickle .
