The Gold Rush was one of the first truly successful creations from the Milk & Honey bar. Although, technically, it was created by Sasha Petraske's (M&H owner) longtime friend, T.J. Siegal, whilst he was sitting at the Milk & Honey bar enjoying a Bourbon Sour after a long shift in Midtown. Petraske was making a honey syrup at the time when Siegal requested another bourbon sour with the honey syrup.
