FATTA FAT CHUTNEY - RADISH CHUTNEY

Radish chutney is a very popular dish from the Kashmiri cuisine commonly known as MooLi Chutney. http://www.vahrehvah.com/radish-chutney-1-1 Ingredients: Radish (medium size) 2 Numbers Oil 3 Tablespoons Garlic 4 Clove Green chilli 4 Numbers Tamarind 10 Grams Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoons Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons Salt 1 0 Mustard seeds 1/4 Teaspoons Chana dal 1/2 Teaspoons Urad dal 1/2 Teaspoons Curry leaves 2 Springs Dry red chilli 3 Numbers Directions: Heat oil in a pan add radish pieces, garlic, green chilli, tamarind, cumin seeds, turmeric, salt mix it and cook it for 5 minutes in a slow flame with the lid on. After 5 minutes switch off the flame and let it cool down. In blender add all these ingredients make it into a coarse paste and transfer into serving plate. For the tempering heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds when they splutter add chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, dry red chilli saute it for a minute then pour this tempering on the top of the radish chutney. Serve this with Rice, roti, dosa, upma or Chapati.
