*Ingredients: Water 1 cup Curry leaves 2 sprigs Garlic cloves 4-5 number Tamarind 50 grams Tomatoes 4 number Chilli powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Rasam powder 1/2 teaspoon Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch Salt to taste Tomatoes 4 number Oil 2 number Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon Red chilies 2-3 number Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon Jaggery 1 teaspoon *Directions: 1. In a pressure cooker add water, curry leaves, garlic, tamarind, tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder, rasam powder, coriander leaves, salt and by closing the lid cook till 1 whistle comes. 2. Now drain the water from tomatoes, mash the mixture and pour drained water and keep aside. 3. For tempering Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, dried red chillies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, jaggery and cook till the raw flavour is gone. 4. Finally, transfer the tomato rasam into it, adjust the salt and serve hot with rice along with papads.
