CLASSIC COCKTAIL 3 Ways! Which one WINS?

The original Frisco was first featured in cocktail guides in the 1930s and was created during US prohibition. It is a simple 2 ingredient cocktail consisting of whiskey and Benedictine. After the repeal of prohibition in 1933, bourbon whiskey overshadowed rye as the whiskey of choice. Corn was easier to grow and it created a sweeter style whiskey. So it is now common for the Frisco to be made with a bourbon but it was most likely originally made with a rye. An incredibly simple drink that exhibits complex herbal notes and long lingering spice. Recipes today more commonly refer to the Frisco Sour with its addition of lemon juice and, optional, egg white. ***** DOWNLOAD COCKTAIL APP: http://bit.ly/get-cocktails-app SUPPORT MY CHANNEL: http://bit.ly/stb-patreon BUY THE BACKBAR: http://bit.ly/buy-a-bottle ***** CLASSIC FRISCO ========== INGREDIENTS - 60ml Rye Whiskey (or Bourbon) - 15ml Benedictine - Lemon Twist FRISCO SOUR ========== A Frisco Sour is a variation on the classic Frisco Cocktail.
