A Negroni float is a nostalgic and playful way to sit back and enjoy an adult beverage. True to it's inspiration from a classic Negroni with bittersweet flavours and the addition of a creamy, effervescent texture. ICE CREAM - 10 Juniper Berries - 2 Large Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream NEGRONI SYRUP - 45mL Gin - 45mL Sweet Vermouth - 45mL Campari - 100g Sugar NEGRONI FLOAT DRINK - 45mL Gin - 15mL Campari - 120mL Grapefruit or Blood Orange Soda METHOD ICE CREAM 1. Use a mortar and pestle to crush juniper berries 2. Add to soft ice cream and mix through NEGRONI SYRUP 3. Combine ingredients into a saucepan 4. Simmer for approx 10 minutes 5. Reduce until syrup is thicker and honey-like in texture NEGRONI FLOAT DRINK 6. Combine the gin, Campari and chosen soda to your high ball 7. glass 8. Add ice (optional) 9. Add juniper ice cream 10. Garnish with juniper berries 11. Drizzle with Negroni syrup 12 Serve with a straw 13. Enjoy!
