Biyani Pakoda Curry - Fried Moong - Onion Pakodi INGREDIENTS: Moong dal - 500gms Chat masala - 1 tsp Salt - As per taste Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Onion - 2 nos. Ajwain - ½ tsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Fennel seeds - 1 tsp Green chillies - 3 nos. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp Baking powder - 1 tsp Curry leaves - 1 spring Bay leaf - 2 nos. Cinnamon stick - 2 nos. Gloves - 3 nos. Red chillies - 4 nos Tomatoes - 2 nos. Turmeric powder - ½ tsp Garam masala powder - ½ tsp Water - As required Coriander leaves - 1 bunch DIRECTIONS: To make Fried Moong Dal: Soak moong dal in a bowl, then take out on a paper napkin so it will absorb excess moisture. Fry it for few minutes on a medium hot oil. Transfer into a plate and add some chat masala powder, salt, red chilli powder & mix it well. To make Onion Pakodi: Take onions in a bowl,add ajwain, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, crushed green chillies, ginger, garlic, salt, baking powder, curry leaves mix it again. Then add some oil, moong dal paste mix it well, deep fry into the hot oil. Transfer it into a plate. Keep aside. To make Pakoda Curry: Heat oil in pan,add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, gloves, red chillies, tomatoes, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and cook it until all the raw flavor is gone. Then add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, water, salt, coriander leaves. And cook it for few minutes. Now add pakoda, mint leaves. Cook it for 2-3 minutes. Then switch off the flame. Tasty biryani pakoda curry is ready to serve with hot rice.
